Sapele Finger Joint Board is jointed by plantation lumber being termite-treated and kiln-dried. The logs are cut into wood staves with size based on each order. Wood staves are vertically jointed into wood bars of equal length, and then jointed parallel into a complete wood board depending on international quality standards.

GRADING:

A: 100% light white color, cleaned surface, no death knots. Tiny alive knot accepted, (less than 3 knots per side). Coloration stably 85-95%.
B: No blue stain. Tiny alive knot accepted, (less than 3 knots on B side). Not accepted death knot. No holes. Coloration stably 70-80%.
C: Small death knots accepted, Black lines accepted, alive knots accepted, small blue stain not over 5% on C side. No holes. Coloration stably 40-60%.
